Account Manager

TranzAct Technologies is an established, privately held company headquartered in Elmhurst, IL. We pride ourselves on being an integrated logistics resource company focused on client satisfaction and driving value to our client’s business. We are currently seeking an Account Manager to play a leading role in ensuring our clients receive superior service. The Account Manager will work with clients directly to provide pro-active account feedback and continuous improvement opportunities as well as problem solving.

Responsibilities:

  • High volume of Client Interaction through email and phone
  • Educate clients on services through our online program
  • Recognize and communicate market trends and seasonality that affect freight and transportation
  • Identify data trends to maximize our client’s business potential
  • Process and problem solve client or technical issues
  • Maintain professional and industry knowledge
  • Develop client relationships and contacts at all levels

Job qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in client implementation and or customer service
  • Transportation experience a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong problem solving and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Skill to prioritize, multitask and manage time effectively
  • Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi task and prioritize
  • Able to understand and resolve reoccurring problems

Location: This position is open in the Tampa, FL and Elmhurst, IL offices.
