Carrier Sales Representative

Are you ready to book some freight? Do you enjoy being the most important part of the freight process? Come join our team! We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have a passion for freight and can come in to contribute immediately!

Responsibilities:

• Develop new and maintain existing carrier relationships
• Qualify and setup new carriers ensuring that the carrier is fully compliant
• Negotiating rates with carriers and customers to meet weekly margin & load counts
• Analyzing our lane history and finding new opportunities while understanding seasonal movements and market volatility
• Accurately entering shipments into the TMS on a daily basis to ensure the shipments are moved via the best mode possible, track the progress, then properly completing shipments for billing
• Able to effectively communicate with both carriers and customers by responding in an accurate and timely manner to ensure proper communication in the

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years MINIMUM carrier sales experience - Candidates that do not have this will not be considered
• Must be able to build carrier relationships, previous relationships desirable
• Excellent communication skills with a high attention to detail
• Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks at once
• Must have experience in moving volume LTL and intermodal loads (both reefer and dry) as well as TL
