Account Manager - Freedom Logistics

Role Overview and Responsibilities:

•    Communicate daily with customers and carriers
•    Work with internal TranzAct team members
•    Ability to establish and expand relationships with key decision makers at our customers
•    Continued education to our clients on the different service offerings that TranzAct brings to the market place
•    Communicate market and industry trends in the supply chain world
•    Identify data elements in the client’s shipping patterns that can improve their supply chain and potentially save them money
•    Identify potential problems and devise necessary solutions; escalate as needed
•    Collaborate with team members to grow and improve processes for all assigned accounts
•    Account Managers work between customers and cross – functional internal teams to ensure timely delivery of our solutions according to the customers’ needs
•    Accountable to customer defined Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and ensuring consistent improvement

Job qualifications:

•    Minimum 1 year transportation experience
•    Experience in client facing or customer service role
•    Strong problem solving and presentation skills
•    Comfortable communicating to all levels in an organization
•    Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
•    Able to prioritize, multi-task and manage time effectively
