Operations Analyst - Managed Services

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing key accounts which utilize the Company’s services collectively, including freight audit and payment, truckload brokerage, TMS and LTL while building and fostering superior customer service. The Operations Manager has the responsibility for developing a retention strategy and executing the plan.


• Develop and utilize professional account management tools and follow up procedures
• Utilizing our team of resources to help you to engineer solutions and handle the daily operations of key accounts
• Responsible for executing and or delegating all day-to-day work related to assigned clients in order to maximize efficiency and deliver according to client and company expectations
• Establish and maintain Standard Operation Procedures
• Ensure team operates within the framework established by the client and TranzAct while proactively monitoring KPI’s
• Plan and conduct meetings with team members to ensure compliance with established practices, to implement new policies, and keep employees abreast of current changes and standards
• Initiate various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules, train new employees
• Responsible for aligning and allocating TranzAct resources to meet the needs of the client per agreed upon SOPs and Client contract
• Pro-actively identify and communicate issues, propose and implement solutions for continuous improvement in regards to processes, cost, service, and profitability
• Conflict resolution and short and long term problem solving
• Develop and distribute customer reports and internal performance management reports
• Directs freight cost, service and carrier management studies


• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 8 years transportation experience
• Superior written, presentation, and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and interact at all levels within the customer’s organization
• Strong ability to persuade, motivate and influence others
• Proven leadership skills and work ethic, as well as attention to detail
• Ability to work independently but also multi-task in a collaborative environment
• Successfully prepares, directs and leads client meetings, including face-to-face and via web conferencing
